In the south of Poland, a small town called Szczyrk was transformed to PHP Central at the end of September. The PHP user groups of Poland united their forces to bring the annual PHP conference, with mastermind and ring leader Dariusz Grzesista bringing again a great event that rumbles the foundation of Poland.

Even though the conference is focussed on local developers and most of the talks were given in Polish, the majority of presentations had English content on it, making it a little less of a burden to follow along if you didn’t understand the language.

Our very own Michelangelo van Dam had the honour and privilege to give a workshop and a presentation there. The workshop was all about quality assurance, explaining the bolts and nuts on improving quality in PHP projects which was attended by a full room. The presentation “Your code, my tests” was the challenge Michelangelo took when people asked him how to test legacy code. In a few slides Michelangelo showed how to find code that requires immediate attention, how to get started testing them and how to deal with those “untestable” parts of a legacy codebase.

In2it excels at improving quality over new and legacy code bases, with years of experience and expertise in the field of testing, measuring and refactoring. Come reach out to us if you’re interested in learning more about our solutions.
